WestJet and the Toronto Blue Jays™ team up for a new home run contest

CALGARY, Sept. 3, 2015 /CNW/ - WestJet, a proud partner of the Toronto Blue Jays, joins the team in launching a special home run contest running during the rest of its regular season home games at Rogers Centre™.

If a Blue Jays player hits a home run into the WestJet Flight Deck at Rogers Centre at a game during the rest of the regular season, one lucky fan will win 25,000 WestJet dollars. Fans can enter the contest by visiting bluejays.com/westjetcontest and filling out the online entry form. WestJet will award a maximum of three prizes of 25,000 WestJet dollars during the contest period.

If no Blue Jays player hits a home run into the WestJet Flight Deck this season, one lucky contest entrant will win return airfare for four to anywhere WestJet flies, as well as a Blue Jays merchandise package.

WestJet dollars may be put toward all or part of the published fare of a "WestJet Marketed" flight or a "WestJet Vacations" package and can only be used for new bookings. WestJet dollars cannot be applied against taxes, fees or charges; the prize includes $3,500 CAD to be put towards same. A minimum amount of 25 WestJet dollars must be redeemed at one time, unless the contest winner is also a WestJet RBC MasterCard holder. Other conditions apply. No purchase necessary. Open to residents of Canada excluding Quebec, over the age of majority. Up to three (3) grand prizes to be won, each valued at approx. $28,500. If no grand prize is awarded, one (1) secondary prize to be won, valued at approx. $5,870.  Limit of one entry per person/email address.  Odds of winning a grand prize depend on the number of home runs hit by a Blue Jays player during any home game during the month of September 2015 (excluding September 1, 2015 and September 2, 2015) to a designated area near the WestJet Flight Deck of Rogers Centre (each, an "Eligible Home Run") and the number of eligible entries received prior to each Eligible Home Run, if any. Odds of winning the secondary prize depend on whether an Eligible Home Run is hit and the number of eligible entries received. Must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to win.
