CALGARY, Sept. 5 /CNW/ - WestJet (TSX:WJA) today announced a one-day $17

the eastern triangle. This fare is only available for purchase on
September 5, 2007 for travel until December 15, 2007.

$49 sale fares for travel until December 15, 2007, between Toronto and Ottawa,

"Our research shows that 90 per cent of WestJet guests, who try us, will
fly with us again. We have identified an opportunity to offer our exceptional
guest experience to people in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, at an inviting
price," said Bob Cummings, WestJet's Executive Vice-President of Guest
Experience and Marketing. "Our pricing model has not changed since 1996, when
we launched service with a cost structure that allowed us to offer airfares
below what had ever been seen in the Canadian airline industry. The same cost
structure advantage is true today; WestJet is able to offer fares that are
proven to increase our market penetration. We believe our record load factors
and significant growth this past year have been the results of our low fares
and great service."

flights from Ottawa to Orlando and Tampa, Montreal to Orlando, and Toronto to
West Palm Beach and Fort Myers for travel until December 15, 2007. All fares
