CALGARY, April 7 /CNW/ - Effective January 1, 2011, WestJet will begin reporting its financial results in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and as such has prepared 2010 comparative figures, re-stated in accordance with IFRS. This transition information can be found in the Media and Investor Relations section of www.westjet.com or WestJet's SEDAR profile at www.sedar.com.
WestJet will hold a transition to IFRS information session on Friday, April 8, 2011, at 9 a.m. MDT (11 a.m. EDT). Robert Palmer, Vice-President, Controller, and Hugh Harley, Director, Investor Relations, will host the information session.
