MEDIA ADVISORY - WestJet first quarter analysts' conference call and annual general and special meeting

CALGARY, April 26 /CNW/ - WestJet will hold its quarterly analysts' conference call on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 8 a.m. MDT (10 a.m. EDT) following the release of its first quarter 2011 financial results.

President and CEO Gregg Saretsky and Executive Vice-President of Finance and CFO Vito Culmone will discuss WestJet's first quarter 2011 results and answer questions from financial analysts and members of the media.

Annual general and special meeting (AGM)

WestJet will hold its AGM at 2 p.m. MDT (4 p.m. EDT) on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at WestJet's Calgary campus, which is located at 22 Aerial Place NE. The AGM will be available through an Internet webcast in the Media and Investor Relations section of www.westjet.com. Gregg Saretsky will be available to speak to local Calgary media following the event, at approximately 3:15 p.m. MDT, at WestJet's Calgary campus.
