CALGARY, May 5, 2015 /CNW/ - WestJet Airlines Ltd. (TSX: WJA and WJA.A) (WestJet) announced today the voting results from its Annual General Meeting held Tuesday May 5, 2015 in Calgary, Alberta. The total number of shares represented by shareholders present in person and by proxy at the meeting was 61.2 million representing 48.5 per cent of WestJet's issued and outstanding Common Voting Shares and Variable Voting Shares.

The requisite number of shareholders voted in favour of all items of business, including election of each of the eleven director nominees as follows:
