New flight to Vancouver Island tops list of more flights from Alberta's capital
CALGARY, July 27, 2015 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced new non-stop service between Edmonton and Nanaimo, British Columbia, as well as more flights between Edmonton and Grande Prairie, Kelowna, Regina and Saskatoon.
"Edmonton is one of the fastest-growing cities in Canada and these important schedule improvements will support that growth," said Chris Avery, WestJet Vice-President, Network Planning, Alliances and Corporate Development. This winter, WestJet will fly non-stop from Edmonton to 26 destinations in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean including Orlando, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Phoenix, Maui, Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. WestJet's popular non-stop seasonal service between Edmonton and Maui begins December 11, 2015, on board the airline's Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
