Santa leads WestJetters in goal to perform 12,000 mini-miracles around WestJet world Dec. 9

CALGARY, Dec. 8, 2015 /CNW/ - Led by Santa dressed in blue pants, jacket and hat, thousands of WestJet employees will hit the streets and airports around the WestJet world with the goal of performing 12,000 random acts of kindness in a 24-hour period as part of WestJet's 12,000 Mini-Miracles Day, December 9.

Beginning in Halifax, Santa will hop into a WestJet Boeing 737 where he will make stops in Toronto, Calgary, Yellowknife and Vancouver to join his WestJet elves on the streets to spontaneously deliver gifts and good deeds across the country. Street teams will be active in 13 cities and 38 airports around the WestJet world.

Random deeds will range from giving away free hot beverages to shoveling sidewalks, helping elderly with groceries, purchasing tickets to community attractions, paying parking fees, handing out umbrellas, blankets and providing meals to charitable groups to name just a few.
