CALGARY, Jan 11 /CNW/ - WestJet (TSX:WJA) commented on the decision
handed down by the Canadian Transportation Agency regarding the
one-passenger-one-fare application.
The decision mandates that WestJet, Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz adopt
a one-person-one-fare policy for persons with severe disabilities who travel
within Canada by air.
WestJet remains committed to providing excellent service to all their
guests, including guests with disabilities. The scope of this decision is long
and complex. Once WestJet has had an opportunity to fully review and evaluate
the decision, they will comment further.
