CALGARY, June 27 /CNW/ - WestJet (TSX:WJA) today announced the
introduction of seasonal non-stop service to three new International

Republic) and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic). These new sun destinations are
part of WestJet's enhanced winter schedule that also includes increased

travel choices, which aligns with our goal of becoming a major international
carrier by 2016," said Bob Cummings. "Increased travel connections within
Canada, as well as between Canada and the U.S. and Canada and the Caribbean,
increases our aircraft utilization, adds more value for our guests and
ultimately results in improved financial performance."
