Airline President Heads Home to Newfoundland on Inaugural Flight to Deer

CALGARY, May 14 /CNW/ - WestJet (TSX:WJA) commenced seasonal non-stop
service to three new destinations in Eastern Canada today. The cities of
Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge (Ontario), Saint John (New Brunswick), and Deer
Lake (Newfoundland and Labrador) bring WestJet's total destinations to 38 - 26
across Canada and 12 in the U.S. and Caribbean.
"These new destinations are very significant additions to WestJet's

Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge, Saint John and Deer Lake, WestJet will fly to 13
cities in Western Canada and 13 cities in Eastern Canada, reinforcing that we

Sean Durfy will fly on the first flight to Deer Lake May 14, 2007. Just
30 minutes from his hometown of Corner Brook, N.L., WestJet's President will
speak to the local Board of Trade during his visit.
In celebration of these inaugural flights, WestJet is offering $49 fares
to and from Saint John and Toronto, and Deer Lake and Toronto. These fares
will be available for purchase between May 10 and 16 for travel by June 27,
2007. These fares are also available on WestJet's new city pairings of
