CALGARY, Feb. 18 /CNW/ - WestJet (TSX:WJA) today announced a one day Obama promotional discount to commemorate U.S. President Barack Obama's first visit to Canada. As a demonstration of the strong relationship between Canada and the United States, WestJet guests will be able to save on travel between the two countries using the online promo code "OBAMA" which will provide travellers with roundtrip savings of $50 off WestJet's already low fares. This offer is valid for travel between Canada and the United States from March 1 to March 31, 2009. To obtain this offer, flights must be booked before midnight February 19, 2009 on westjet.com.

Flights must be booked before midnight on February 19, 2009, MT, for travel between March 1 and March 31, 2009.
