CALGARY, June 4 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced that it will fly from Comox to Puerto Vallarta as part of its winter schedule. The brand new seasonal non-stop service will begin in November.

"This new service is going to make it very easy for people in the Comox Valley to holiday in Puerto Vallarta. After all the support we have received from the community, it's exciting to be able to offer this new service with such a convenient flight schedule," said Chris Avery, WestJet Vice-President of Revenue and Planning. "We look forward to transporting our guests away from the winter weather to a sunny getaway in the Mexican Riviera."

This announcement is part of WestJet's new, expanded service from 17 Canadian cities to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas. It is also part of WestJet's flight schedule for the winter of 2009-2010, which will be announced in full in July.
