<< Airline extends non-stop service between Calgary and San Diego from seasonal to year-round >>
CALGARY, July 8 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced it will extend its non-stop service from Calgary to San Diego from seasonal to year-round, effective November 2, 2009.
"The approach to launch a route on a seasonal basis before deciding to expand it year-round continues to be the right one for WestJet," said Chris Avery, WestJet's Vice-President, Revenue and Planning. "It is a reflection of our overall strategy to continue to grow when and where it makes sense, in a balanced, measured and appropriate way.
"The people of southern Alberta and southern California have voted with their feet, so to speak," added Chris Avery. "They've shown us they enjoy this new service, that it delivers high value at a low cost, and that they will continue to use it this winter. We thank our Alberta and California guests, and look forward to continuing to serve them on this route on a year-round basis."
Following are the schedule details of WestJet's new year-round, non-stop service, starting November 2, 2009.
