CALGARY, Sept. 8 /CNW/ - WestJet (TSX:WJA) today announced the appointment of Ron Brenneman to its Board of Directors.
Ron Brenneman is a Director of The Bank of Nova Scotia and BCE Inc. and is the current executive vice chairman of Suncor Energy Inc., where he is helping oversee the Suncor Energy Inc. and Petro-Canada integration. Mr. Brenneman's successful career spans more than 42 years in the oil and gas industry. He is a professional engineer, who obtained his bachelor of applied science in chemical engineering from the University of Toronto and a master of science in control systems from the University of Manchester.
