CALGARY, Sept. 9 /CNW/ - Today marks the 10th anniversary of WestJet service to the people of Grande Prairie and surrounding area.
Ken Miller, WestJet's Grande Prairie station manager, will be available for media interviews about the anniversary between 9 and 9:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at the WestJet counter at Grande Prairie Airport. Media are advised that due to prior commitments surrounding anniversary celebrations, this is Ken's only opportunity on Wednesday to conduct interviews.
Visual media are advised that the best time to visit the airport for stills or footage is at 1:30 p.m., when guests for the 3:10 flight to Edmonton will begin checking in. The check-in counters have been decorated to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the base.
