Airline makes inaugural flight between Toronto and Cozumel today

CALGARY, Dec. 10 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced the launch of new, seasonal non-stop service between Toronto and Cozumel, Mexico. The inaugural flight departs Toronto's Pearson International Airport at 10:00 a.m. ET today.

"Our sixth Mexican destination is yet another treasure in WestJet's sun destination lineup," said Hugh Dunleavy, WestJet Executive Vice-President of Strategy and Planning. "Cozumel is a spicy blend of Mexican flavour combined with the smooth essence of the Caribbean. We are eager to give our guests the opportunity to visit this tropical paradise, this winter!"

WestJet will fly between Toronto and Cozumel twice per week from now until April 29, 2010.
