Airline's Fun `n Festival Series launches interactive website and gives away festival experiences
CALGARY, June 23 /CNW/ - WestJet today launched a new interactive website with the goal of creating a friendly online debate among Canadians about their favourite festivals. The website, www.westjetfestivals.com, allows Canadians to share their experiences, photos, videos and opinions about any festival in Canada and enter to win one of six festival experiences.
"The WestJet Fun `n Festival Series sponsors upwards of 25 festivals every year. Our Sponsorship team has heard festival debates about everything from where to find the best live music to what festival has the best deep-fried Oreos," says Richard Bartrem, WestJet Vice-President of Communications and Community Relations. "This is the chance for Canadians to promote their favourite festivals. In addition to participating in the online polls, guests can enter to win some great festival experiences. Our site will also follow the WestJet Sponsorship team as they criss-cross the country bringing the WestJet spirit to festivals in the communities we serve."
The festivals featured on www.westjetfestivals.com will include those sponsored by WestJet and any others that Canadians wish to discuss. Local festivals can be added to the site.
The first two festival experience giveaways will be awarded on July 2, 2010, so Canadians are encouraged to visit the site, join the debate and win the experience at www.westjetfestivals.com.
