Airline adds non-stops from Halifax
to Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Florida
CALGARY, Nov. 24 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced new seasonal non-stop service from Halifax to Montego Bay, Punta Cana, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, as well as additional non-stop service to Cancun and Orlando.
"A Maritime winter can be tough and we're especially pleased to give Nova Scotians more opportunity to soak up the sun this winter," said Hugh Dunleavy, WestJet Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Planning.
WestJet will fly non-stop between Halifax and Montego Bay weekly each Monday from February 14 to May 2, 2011.1

In addition to new flight service, WestJet is also increasing non-stop service to Orlando, Florida and Cancun, Mexico.
WestJet will fly non-stop between Halifax and Orlando weekly each Tuesday and Thursday from February 15 to May 5, 2011. This additional service will occur in conjunction with already-scheduled Saturday service to commence December 4, 2010.
