CALGARY, March 31 /CNW/ - WestJet will hold a transition to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) information session on Friday, April 8, 2011, at 9 a.m. MDT (11 a.m. EDT) for financial analysts and investors. Robert Palmer, Vice-President, Controller, and Hugh Harley, Director, Investor Relations, will host the information session.

Effective January 1, 2011, WestJet will begin reporting its financial results in accordance with IFRS and is releasing 2010 comparative figures, re-stated in accordance with IFRS on April 7, 2011.
