Airline sees highest guest numbers as Canada Day weekend approaches
CALGARY, June 30, 2011 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced it will fly 51,752 guests today, setting yet another new single-day record for the airline. The previous record, set heading into the Easter long weekend, saw 51,611 guests fly through the airline's network.
"Canadians are ready to celebrate this Canada Day long weekend. On average, WestJet flies approximately 40,000 guests per day.
