WestJet moves to Terminal 1 at LAS

New terminal offers more for WestJet guests

CALGARY, Sept. 30 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced that it will be moving
its operations at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS) from
Terminal 2 to Terminal 1, effective today. Terminal 1 offers more amenities,
such as additional shopping and restaurant choices for WestJet guests. This
terminal has more opportunities to accommodate the airline's growing
transborder operations and makes Las Vegas WestJet's first U.S. destination to
offer guests self-serve check-in options.
"WestJet constantly seeks to ensure that our guest experience is the best
it can be," says Mark Brown, Director of Airport Operations for WestJet. "The
airport environment is part of that experience and Terminal 1 at LAS provides
improved amenities and comfort for guests travelling to and from Las Vegas."
WestJet currently offers non-stop flights to Las Vegas from nine Canadian
cities. WestJet Vacations, which WestJet introduced in 2006, and has already
become the largest Canadian travel provider of Las Vegas hotel rooms.
