Flights to Jamaica, Florida, Mexico and the Dominican Republic to begin two weeks early
CALGARY, Dec. 23, 2011 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced the early launch of additional non-stop service to sun destinations from Halifax, Moncton and St. John's. Previously scheduled to begin the first week in March, flights will now launch between February 20 and 26, approximately two weeks earlier.
"We are pleased to be in a position to add more service to the sun from Atlantic Canada this winter," said John MacLeod, WestJet Vice-President, Network Management and Alliances. "We will take delivery of our 98th aircraft in the second week of February, two weeks earlier than planned, so we are delighted to launch these popular services ahead of schedule."
The new dates for service from Halifax, Moncton and St. John's are as follows:
