CALGARY, June 20, 2013 /CNW/ - What is that in the skies?  Is it a bird?  Is it a plane?  Actually it is two planes and they belong to WestJet Encore, Canada's newest regional airline taking flight this June 24^th.

Media are welcome to join WestJet guests on Monday, June 24 as WestJet Encore launches with flights to Nanaimo, Fort St. John, Vancouver, Victoria, and Saskatoon.  Giant sandcastles, enormous ice sculptures and a shiny white, blue and teal Bombardier Q400 are all on display to celebrate the newest regional carrier.

If you would like to take part in this exclusive opportunity, please RSVP before noon on Friday, June 21 to media@westjet.com.  Your RSVP ensures that you will receive an exclusive event pass to gate-side activities. Those members of the media unable to RSVP prior to June 20 will be able to meet with a WestJet representative at the domestic check-in counters from 9:00 to 9:15 a.m. to talk about our exciting new service.
