CALGARY, Sept. 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Media are invited to the Calgary International Airport on September 3, 2013, to welcome Brandon, Manitoba, to the growing network of destinations served by WestJet Encore.

New daily, non-stop service between Calgary and Brandon is operated by WestJet Encore's fleet of Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft and bookings are available now via westjet.com, by calling 1-888-WESTJET or through a preferred travel agent.

Brandon is the third new destination for WestJet Encore, and from the beginning has been an enthusiastic advocate of air service. Residents of Brandon and area will now have one-stop access to WestJet's extensive network of 87 destinations in 18 countries.

Media are invited to meet WestJet Encore President Ferio Pugliese and members of the Brandon delegation including Mayor Sheri Decter Hirst and Brandon Chamber of Commerce President Craig Senchuk.
